Our History
2007-2009
- Mobiliti was founded to fill a clear gap: San Diego and the broader US market needed a commercial furniture dealer that understood ergonomics, brand identity, and the complete workspace — not just products. In our first two years, we became strategic partners with General Motors, furnishing 80% of their national car dealership network — an extraordinary early validation of our commercial furniture expertise.
2010-2012
- Became the exclusive Coalesse dealer for our region.
- Expanded our showroom into a 5,000 sq ft.
- Started servicing Fortune 500 companies.
- Opened our first showroom.
2013-2015
- Earned the ISO9001 certification (quality management system certification).
- Expanded operations and opened an additional showroom.
- Migrated from an internal ERP system to SAP.
2016-2018
- Completed one of the largest commercial furniture projects in Mobiliti’s history — a 107,639 sq ft Toyota manufacturing plant fit-out. This project demonstrated our capacity for large-scale, complex commercial furniture installations that now serve San Diego’s most ambitious corporate clients.
2019-2022
- 2019: Opened our San Diego headquarters at 925 B Street, Downtown San Diego — establishing our permanent base in one of California’s most dynamic commercial real estate markets. Became the strategic furniture partner for VOLVO USA’s Western Headquarters — the most recognized automotive brand partnership in Mobiliti’s history. Expanded national installation capability to serve clients across the entire United States.
